You of course can't forget our renowned Cumberland County Playhouse! People come from all over to see the shows that are put on here! This year they have done shows such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, And Then There Were None, and Little Shop of Horrors! Definitely worth the visit!
Just on the outskirts of Crossville is a quiet and quaint retirement community known as Fairfield Glade, or "The Glade" as us locals like to call it! There are plenty of golf courses to visit and maybe play a few rounds! Plus you are close enough to visit the movie theater or make a quick trip to Tennessee's first Buc ee's!
Jamestown is about an hour outside of Crossville, and much like Pikeville, it is a small town! However, don't let its size fool you, it is full of life! Visit the beautiful state park, or maybe you want to try some wine from Tennessee's oldest winery? How about catching a movie after a long day of play? You can always find something to do!
Pickett CCC Memorial State Park
In Sparta you will never be bored! Not only is it less than a half hour drive to Cookeville, but it has so many options of entertainment as well! Choose from a plethora of winery's and brewery's to taste test, go for a hike at one of the many parks and end the night at the drive in theater for a double feature!
